k3s cluster storage
The Raspberry Pi k3s cluster runs Longhorn as its persistent storage layer (see Architecture). Each volume is replicated across multiple nodes — by default, 3 full copies spread over different Pis — so a single node going down doesn't lose data; Longhorn automatically rebuilds the missing replica elsewhere. This is distinct from the NAS below: it backs stateful workloads running in the cluster (e.g. Pi-hole's configuration), not household file storage.

A WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra provides network-attached storage for the household. Its primary job is keeping family data safe.
